A Jobber alternative for small crews whose week repeats

Jobber is a good product and the best-known name in this category. The complaint that brings people to a page like this one is usually the same: the bill grows faster than the business, because every person who opens the schedule is another user. This page puts the two prices side by side for a small team and says plainly when Jobber is still the better choice. For the full head-to-head, see DoneOnce vs Jobber.

Jobber's prices were read on its own pricing page, https://www.getjobber.com/pricing/, on 2026-09-30, with the team-size selector set to each size: monthly billing, no commitment, the regular price after any introductory discount. The limit on Core comes from Jobber's help center article on managing the team, updated 2026-08-18. Jobber changes its plans from time to time, so check it before deciding.

What a team of 1, 3, 5 and 10 pays

Per month, in U.S. dollars. Jobber's plans on that date: Core $49 for 1 user; Connect $139 for 1 user, $199 for 5, $299 for 10 and $399 for 15; Grow $199 for 1 user, $299 for 5, $399 for 10 and $499 for 15; Plus from $499 for 5 users. Each plan card says users are added at $29 a month each, but Core takes only one added seat: Jobber's help center says that to add more, upgrade to Connect, and its pricing page offers Core only for "Just me". Each column shows the cheapest way to reach that team size on that plan.

The plans are not the same product. Jobber lists automated client reminders, automatic payment collection, quote and invoice follow-ups, QuickBooks Online sync and time tracking as what Connect adds to Core. DoneOnce has one plan with everything in it, so the fair comparison for most teams is the Connect column: email reminders, the payments center and the crew timesheet are in DoneOnce at every team size.

Jobber too expensive for a small team?

The part that grows is the user. On Jobber, a user is anyone who opens the schedule, at the office or in the field, and each one past the plan's count is $29 a month. On DoneOnce the second and third person cost nothing, the 4th to the 10th are $15 each and from the 11th $10 each. For a crew of three that is $69 against $197 on Connect, the cheapest Jobber plan that takes three people; across a year, $828 against $2,364.

Card payments are a separate cost on both. DoneOnce takes no platform commission: the customer's money goes into the business's own Stripe account at Stripe's standard 2.9% + 30¢. Jobber's pricing page lists its own card rates, 2.9% + 30¢ or 2.7% + 30¢ depending on the plan.

The full DoneOnce price, with the seat table up to 15 people, is on the pricing page. For your own numbers, put your team size and your Jobber plan into the savings calculator: it reads the same dated prices.

Spanish end to end

Jobber is in Spanish too. Its help center (https://help.getjobber.com/en/articles/spanish-language-jobber-mobile-app-faq/, updated 2026-09-24, read 2026-09-25) says Spanish is available on the web for any team member, admin or not, and in the mobile app for non-admin users; an admin's mobile app stays in English because the admin features are not translated yet. So on Jobber the crew works in Spanish on the phone and the owner can in the browser, but not from the truck.

DoneOnce is in Spanish for everyone who touches it: the owner, the office and the technician each choose their language, and the customer side follows the customer, so the estimate approval, the payment link, the emails and the help articles are in Spanish too.

What DoneOnce is built for

The business whose week repeats: the same clients on a weekly, biweekly or monthly cycle. Zones by ZIP code put a new client on the right day; each technician gets one route per day, sent to Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps; visits are recorded on the route; estimates with deposits and recurring subscriptions are approved and paid from the customer's phone; the payments center shows who owes what and reminds them by email. A pool route, a lawn crew, a cleaning company, pest control: the trade is an example, the cycle is the point.
